What are your goals for your golf game? Weitzel Golf’s set/swing analysis will help enable you to find out what you need to meet those goals, as well as where your current clubs may be hindering your progress. The purpose is to build a blueprint for your set that matches your swing characteristics perfectly. In Dan’s experience, he finds that most golfers have a mismatched set for length, weight, and many other fitting specifications. Starting with an initial shaft analysis, then understanding your swing pattern, and finishing with the vision for your set to fit your blueprint, Weitzel Golf will get you started on the right path. Even if your budget doesn’t allow for a full set replacement, it is important to make sure that whatever portions you replace or modify fit that blueprint going forward.

Launch Monitor Fitting
At Weitzel Golf, the club fitting process is aided by metrics gained from the Mizuno Shaft Optimizer tool and indoor launch monitor data. Combine this with the unique option to take demos to test outdoors and see actual ball flight. All of this is to make sure your new equipment fits your game and your swing profile perfectly.
Custom Club Building
Most club fitters stop after the fitting process, submitting club choices to the manufacturer, not guaranteeing a precise build. Weitzel Golf starts with heads and shafts, or unfinished clubs from the manufacturer, and completes the build process to make sure the set is completely matched to your requirements and preferences for length, swingweight, loft and lie settings, etc. As I tell my clients – I have no tolerance for tolerances!
Wedge Fitting
Combine the ability to test multiple wedge models outdoors with different grinds, bounce angles and lofts available to find the perfect fit for your short game needs. It is critical to test wedges in the environments in which you play – both for conditions and to match your swing characteristics. You will see and feel differences in various wedge options, especially in chipping and pitching. Don’t just go with “one size fits all” in your wedge game!
Putter Fitting
Weitzel Golf offers the most popular putter line in the business, Odyssey – number one on Tour! Also offered are the newest high-quality options from Mizuno. With a wide variety of different heads, shaft styles, and weights to choose from, you will be able to test on an outdoor putting surface to help identify the best fit for your putting needs. We also use a laser tool for alignment improvement as well as a “roll board” to determine optimal roll performance, as well as loft and lie needs. Come get the perfect putter for your game!
Current Set Optimization
With swing changes, increasing or decreasing clubhead speeds, or other issues, Weitzel golf can often adjust your equipment to match changes your game is going through. If your budget doesn’t allow for new clubs now, Dan can recommend a variety of ways to help optimize your set to your current needs.

Clubs
Weitzel Golf represents several major lines of golf clubs with the primary focus being on Callaway and Mizuno. Callaway is leading the way in nearly every segment of the club business and Mizuno has always been known as a fantastic iron designer and manufacturer, but now is also becoming a significant factor in the complete line as well.
Because Dan prefers to build his own sets to his specifications, he is a “head account” for each of his lines. This means attention to detail that no manufacturer can compete with. Dan is fond of saying “it doesn’t cost any more to do it right!”.

Shafts
Virtually every major shaft line can be obtained through Weitzel Golf. The fit cart shafts from Callaway and Mizuno are second to none, but Dan also has access to many other brands. Primary shaft lines include True Temper (Dynamic Gold, Project X, etc.), Aerotech, Accra, Nippon, Fujikura, Autoflex and KBS. Other available lines include Mitsubishi, Aldila, UST and Paderson.
Grips
Weitzel Golf stocks a representative line of grips from Golf Pride and Winn. Again, virtually any grip is available upon request.
